Sylvia Varela

Silvia Varela has been a paralegal for 19 years, with 17 years dedicated to estate planning. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Mexican Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Mexico in 1999 and practiced civil litigation in Mexico for five years. Silvia continued her legal career when she moved to San Diego in 2005, receiving her certificate in the Paralegal Studies Bilingual Program from Southwestern College in 2005. Bilingual and bicultural, Silvia brings a unique perspective and a wealth of experience to her role.

"I love that every day is different and challenging," she says. In her free time, Silvia enjoys hiking and crafting, especially making candles and floral arrangements.
